The CW4L2-S(005) DIN Rail Series is a custom-engineered, DIN rail-mountable single phase AC power line EMI filter developed under LXLZ’s ODM manufacturing program. Combining the enlarged high-current body of the S(005) platform with a factory-integrated industrial-grade 35mm DIN rail mounting assembly, this filter is purpose-built for direct snap-on installation into IEC-standard industrial control panels, automation cabinets, and electrical enclosures — without panel drilling, additional brackets, or mounting hardware.

Manufactured by LXLZ (Shenzhen Lize Electronics), the (005) ODM designation identifies this unit as a customer-specification variant featuring a 4×0.7mH custom inductanceenlarged wide-body housing for thermal headroom at high current ratings, and gold-plated 3-position terminal blocks on both LINE and LOAD sides — all integrated with a zinc-plated steel DIN rail clip assembly for fast, secure panel installation.

Circuit & Internal Component Details

Capacitor Network

  • CX (X-Class, Differential-Mode): 3 × 0.1μF Line-to-line connected, attenuating differential-mode conducted EMI generated by switching loads, inverter drives, and non-linear equipment
  • CY (Y-Class, Common-Mode): 2 × 3300pF Line-to-earth and neutral-to-earth, providing controlled common-mode noise discharge to chassis ground — effective across the high-frequency interference spectrum

Inductor Network

  • L: 4 × 0.7mH Common-Mode Choke Custom inductance value on high-permeability toroidal cores — selected to optimize the balance between insertion loss performance, core saturation margin at high current, and physical size within the wide-body housing

Bleed Resistor

  • R: 1MΩ / 0.5W X-capacitor safety discharge resistor — mandatory for IEC 60335 and EN 60950 compliance, ensuring safe charge dissipation after AC power removal

DIN Rail Installation — Visual Guide

Based on the product images, the installation sequence is:

Step 1 — Position
  Hold filter above the 35mm DIN rail with clip 
  assembly facing the rail surface

Step 2 — Engage Upper Hook
  Hook the upper rail clip edge over the top 
  flange of the DIN rail

Step 3 — Snap Lower Clip
  Press the lower clip down and onto the 
  bottom rail flange until it seats fully

Step 4 — Lock
  Tighten the adjustment screw on the zinc clip 
  to lock the filter firmly against the rail

Step 5 — Wire
  Connect LINE terminals (L/N/E) to power source
  Connect LOAD terminals (L/N/E) to equipment
  Replace transparent terminal covers

Step 6 — Ground Verify
  Confirm E terminal and housing are bonded 
  to panel chassis ground
