Illuminated Switch IEC Filter Large Red Button EMI
If you’re building equipment that needs clean, stable power input — and you want everything in one neat panel-mount package — this is the kind of component that just makes sense. The CW2C-10A-T combines an IEC inlet socket, a large red rocker switch, a dual fuse holder, and an EMI filter stage into a single integrated unit. Less wiring, fewer parts to source separately, and a cleaner final assembly. That’s the practical value here.
We manufacture this directly at our Shenzhen facility. No middlemen. CE and RoHS certified, and the label’s right there on the unit — not something printed on a box.

What You’re Actually Getting (From the Image & Specs)
Looking at the unit:
- IEC C14 inlet at the top — standard male socket, compatible with the C13 power cords used worldwide. Drop-in replacement or new-build friendly.
- Dual fuse drawer in the middle — accepts standard 5×20mm fuses. The “Use only with 250V fuse” marking is molded right onto the housing. No guessing.
- Large red illuminated rocker switch at the bottom — that oversized button isn’t just for looks. It’s easier to operate with gloved hands on the factory floor, and the illumination gives a clear ON/OFF status at a glance.
- EMI filter module — visible on the side panel with the full circuit schematic printed:
- CX: 0.1μF (X-capacitor, differential mode)
- CY: 2×3300pF (Y-capacitors, common mode)
- L: 2×0.3mH (common mode choke inductors)
This is a genuine LC filter topology, not a passive dummy. It actually suppresses conducted EMI on both common mode and differential mode paths.

Why This 3-in-1 Design Matters for Your Build
Most equipment designers have been there — sourcing the IEC inlet, the EMI filter, and the power switch from three different suppliers, then figuring out how to fit them into a panel cutout that works for all three. It’s a time sink, and it introduces more potential failure points.
This unit solves that. One panel cutout. One SKU to purchase. One assembly step.
For OEM manufacturers doing mid-to-high volume runs on industrial equipment, medical carts, lab instruments, audio amplifiers, or server enclosures — the BOM simplification alone is worth it. Your assembly line moves faster, and your QC process has fewer variables.
The large red switch also isn’t a random choice. In CE-marked equipment intended for European or industrial markets, operator visibility and ease of emergency shutdown matter. A big, clearly colored rocker is much harder to miss than a small toggle.
Applications — Where This Gets Specified
- Industrial control panels & PLCs — needs EMI filtering to stay inside conducted emissions limits (EN 55032, CISPR 32)
- Medical & lab equipment — dual fuse for redundancy; clean power matters for measurement accuracy
- Audio / AV amplifiers — eliminates mains hum and high-frequency switching noise from the power rail
- CNC machines & servo drives — high-frequency switching from motor drives creates dirty power; the filter cleans it before it affects upstream equipment
- Test & measurement instruments — where power line noise corrupts readings
- Telecommunications / networking hardware — compact EMI filter footprint in 1U or 2U rack chassis
Manufacturing Advantage — Why Buy Direct from Us
We’re not a trading company reselling someone else’s components. This is our own product line, manufactured in Shenzhen under the Lize (立泽) brand, with full in-house process control.
What that means for B2B buyers:
- Custom current ratings — we cover 1A through 10A in the same series. If your application needs a 3A or 6A version, just ask.
- Custom switch options — we offer single fuse / dual fuse configurations and can discuss switch color or illumination variants for your OEM product.
- Label & packaging customization — OEM/ODM available for buyers with sufficient volume. Your brand, your box.
- Consistent batch quality — each unit goes through dielectric withstand and contact resistance checks before shipment. The schematic and ratings label isn’t decoration; it reflects what’s actually built inside.
- MOQ flexibility — we work with development-stage buyers and volume production orders. Let’s talk numbers.
Best Practices (From Assembly Experience)
A few things worth knowing before you spec this into your design:
- Panel cutout tolerance matters. The snap-in tabs on this unit are designed for a specific cutout size. Request our mechanical drawing before cutting your chassis — saves rework.
- Fuse rating should match your load, not the filter’s max. Just because the filter handles 10A doesn’t mean you should fuse at 10A. Size your fuse to protect your downstream circuit.
- Keep wiring on the LOAD side short and shielded. If you run long unshielded wires from the filter output to your power supply input, you defeat part of the EMI filtering benefit.
- Grounding the chassis through the filter’s ground terminal is not optional. The Y-capacitors bleed high-frequency noise to earth — if that path isn’t solid, the filter doesn’t work as rated.
- For 110V markets, confirm your fuse drawer and fuse ratings are correct for single-phase 110V use. The filter handles both voltages, but your fuse selection should reflect the actual operating voltage.
FAQ
Can you supply the same model with a single fuse holder instead of dual?
Yes. We offer both single-fuse and dual-fuse configurations in the CW2C series. The dual-fuse variant (this unit) is preferred when L+N fusing is required by local safety standards. Just specify when you inquire.
Do you have CE certification documentation we can use for our own product compliance file?
Yes. We can provide CE declaration of conformity and test reports. RoHS compliance documentation is also available. Just let us know what your compliance team needs.
What’s the minimum order quantity, and can you do OEM labeling?
MOQ varies by model and configuration — typically starts at a few hundred pieces for standard variants. OEM labeling and custom packaging are available at agreed volumes. Reach out and we’ll work out what makes sense for your production schedule.
How does this filter perform against EN 55032 / CISPR conducted emissions limits?
The CX/CY/L values in this unit are selected for broadband conducted EMI suppression across the 150kHz–30MHz range typically tested under CISPR standards. We can share insertion loss curves if you need to verify it suits your application before committing to a design.
Can the switch current rating handle inrush current at power-on?
The rocker switch is rated for the resistive current at the labeled amperage. For applications with high capacitive or transformer inrush (like large amplifiers or switching power supplies), we recommend confirming the inrush profile with us. We can recommend the appropriate model variant or suggest NTC inrush limiting upstream.
