LXLZ Note: This Product Provides Solutions for Parameter Customization And Application.

3-Phase 4-Wire EMI Filter Terminal Block with Neutral

Factory-direct 3-phase 4-wire EMI filter with terminal block connection. 380VAC, 1–40A range, CE/RoHS certified, -25°C to +85°C rated. Built for industrial panels, VFDs, and automation systems. OEM specs available.

If you’re sourcing EMI filters for industrial equipment — drives, CNC machines, automation panels, or power distribution cabinets — you already know how much electrical noise can kill equipment performance or cause compliance headaches. This is exactly where the CW12B-R steps in.

The 32-CW12B-R is a 3-phase 4-wire power line EMI filter built for 380VAC industrial environments. It uses screw-type terminal blocks on both LINE and LOAD sides, which means no connector mismatch, faster wiring during panel assembly, and a cleaner, more serviceable installation compared to stud-bolt or wire-lead versions.

From the circuit diagram printed right on the housing, you can see it runs a dual-stage LC filter topology — common-mode chokes paired with X/Y capacitors across all three phases plus neutral. That’s a real-world difference in suppression performance, not just a spec-sheet number.

What Makes This Design Work in the Field

Terminal block connection — not a small detail. Panel builders love this. No crimping ring terminals onto wire leads, no hunting for the right stud size. The screw terminal design on both input and output sides cuts wiring time significantly during cabinet assembly. For OEMs doing high-volume panel builds, that adds up.

Neutral line included (4-wire). A lot of cheaper 3-phase filters skip the neutral. In real industrial installations — especially with mixed single-phase loads or variable frequency drives — an unfiltered neutral is a noise path you don’t want open. The 4-wire design closes that gap.

Wide current range: 1A to 40A. Whether you’re filtering a control circuit or a motor drive input, one product family covers it. Easier to standardize your BOM across projects.

-25°C to +85°C operating range. This isn’t a lab-grade component. It’s built for factory floors, outdoor enclosures, and environments where temperatures swing hard. The stainless/steel housing adds mechanical protection too.

CE & RoHS marked. If your end customers are in Europe or markets requiring EMC compliance, this covers your documentation baseline. Less friction at customs, fewer questions from end-client procurement.

Typical Applications

  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) / Inverters — input-side noise suppression
  • CNC Machine Tools — protecting control electronics from line-conducted interference
  • Industrial Automation Panels — PLC and servo drive protection
  • Power Distribution Equipment — upstream noise isolation
  • Welding Equipment / Laser Systems — high-interference environments
  • Test & Measurement Equipment — clean power input requirement
  • HVAC Control Systems — compressor drive filtering

Installation Best Practices (From Experience)

These aren’t theoretical — they’re what actually matters when you’re putting these into production systems.

  1. Mount the filter as close to the panel entry point as possible. The longer the unfiltered cable run inside the cabinet, the more noise it picks up before the filter can do anything.
  2. Keep LINE and LOAD wiring separated. Running them parallel defeats the filter. Cross them at 90° if they have to pass near each other.
  3. Ground the filter housing directly to the cabinet chassis — short and fat ground connection, not a long wire. This is where most field failures come from.
  4. Match current rating with headroom. Select the next current rating up from your calculated load. Running a filter at 100% rated current in a warm enclosure shortens service life.
  5. For VFD applications, install the filter on the AC input side only. Do not install between the VFD output and the motor — that’s a different filter type entirely.
  6. Check your neutral connection in 4-wire systems. Leaving the G terminal unconnected wastes the 4-wire advantage entirely.

FAQ

Can you do custom current ratings or voltage configurations?

Yes. As a manufacturer, we support OEM specifications. If your application needs a non-standard current rating, modified terminal pitch, or different voltage (e.g., 440VAC), contact us with your requirements. MOQ and lead time depend on the spec.

What certifications does this filter carry, and can you provide test reports?

The CW12B-R series carries CE marking and meets RoHS requirements. Full test documentation and insertion loss curves are available upon request for procurement or compliance review.

What’s the minimum order quantity, and do you offer sample orders?

We work with B2B buyers. Sample quantities are available for qualification testing. For production orders, MOQ varies by current rating — contact us directly for a quote by model.

How does the terminal block version differ from wire-lead versions, and which should I use?

The “-R” suffix denotes terminal block (排) connection. It’s designed for panel-mount installation where wires are terminated on-site. Wire-lead versions are more common for pre-wired assemblies or space-constrained enclosures. If you’re building control cabinets, terminal block is almost always the right call.

What insertion loss performance can I expect, and do you have attenuation curves?

Insertion loss varies by frequency and impedance conditions. As a manufacturer, we can provide insertion loss data measured per CISPR 17 test methodology. Typical common-mode attenuation starts becoming significant above 150kHz, which covers the primary conducted EMI band. Reach out and we’ll send the datasheet for the specific current rating you need.
