Unlike traditional metal-bodied EMI filters that mount via external brackets or side-clip assemblies, the DG series integrates directly onto the DIN rail through its bottom-mounted rail channel — sitting flush alongside other panel components with the label face forward for clear identification in completed panel installations.

The CW4EL2-DG Series is a premium enhanced-grade single phase AC power line EMI filter built in a European-standard DIN rail form factor — featuring a compact engineering plastic enclosureEuropean-style color-coded terminal blocks, and direct bottom-mount DIN rail engagement for seamless integration into IEC-standard industrial control panels alongside PLCs, drives, relays, and other DIN rail automation components.

The “E” Enhanced grade dual-stage π-type filter circuit delivers superior insertion loss performance across the conducted EMI frequency spectrum. The “L” Low Leakage design controls ground leakage current within limits compatible with RCD-protected distribution systems. Combined with European-style green and grey terminal blocks accepting standard ferrule-terminated conductors, the CW4EL2-DG is the specification-grade EMI filter for demanding European-market and internationally-aligned industrial panel programs.

The bottom-direct mounting channel is molded into the housing base — the filter simply slides onto the DIN rail from the end or snaps down from above, exactly like a PLC module or circuit breaker, and secures in place.

Installation Notes

⚠️  Mount onto EN 60715 standard 35mm (TS35) DIN rail 
    via bottom channel — slide onto rail end or 
    press down onto rail until engagement clicks.
    Verify secure seating before wiring.

⚠️  Use bootlace ferrules (DIN 46228) on all 
    conductor ends before insertion into terminal 
    blocks — required for professional European 
    panel wiring practice and reliable long-term 
    terminal contact performance.

⚠️  Connect GREEN terminal block (LINE) to AC 
    power source input: L, N, E as marked.
    Connect GREY terminal block (LOAD) to 
    protected equipment output.
    Do not reverse LINE and LOAD connections.

⚠️  Bond E (Earth) terminal to panel chassis ground.
    Without ground connection, both common-mode 
    suppression and low leakage performance 
    are non-functional.

⚠️  In RCD-protected installations, calculate 
    total cumulative leakage from all filters 
    on the protected circuit before commissioning.

⚠️  Tighten all terminal screws to the torque

    At 40A–60A ratings, under-torqued terminals
