IEC Inlet Filter with Switch Red Rocker Power Entry
If you’re building equipment that needs clean, stable power input — and you want everything in one compact module — this is the kind of part that just makes your design cleaner and your production line faster.
The CW2B-10A-T is a panel-mount power entry module that combines an IEC C14 inlet, a red illuminated rocker switch, an EMI/EMC filter, and a single or dual fuse holder — all in a single integrated assembly. No separate components to wire, no extra panel cutouts to manage. It goes in as one unit and works as a complete AC power front-end.
We manufacture these in-house in Shenzhen, and they’re built to CE and RoHS standards. The label on the unit says it clearly — rated for 115V/250V, 50/60Hz, with a filter circuit of CX: 0.1μF, CY: 2×3300pF, L: 2×0.3mH. That’s a real, functional EMI filter — not just a connector with a fuse slapped on it.

What’s Inside — The 3-in-1 Integration
Most engineers have sourced these three things separately at some point. This module puts them together in a way that’s actually useful on a production floor:
- IEC C14 Power Inlet — Standard interface, accepts all C13 cables globally
- Red Illuminated Rocker Switch — Glows when live; operators know instantly whether the unit is powered. The red backlit indicator reduces operator error in low-light industrial environments
- Single or Dual Fuse Holder — Accessible from the front face, no need to open the enclosure for fuse replacement. Rated for standard 5×20mm or 6×30mm fuses

Who Uses This and Why
This module shows up most commonly in:
- Industrial control cabinets and automation equipment — where operators need a clear power-on indicator and fuse protection on a single accessible panel
- Medical device enclosures — where EMI filtering is not optional, and a clean panel layout matters for certification
- Audio and lab equipment manufacturers — the EMI filter keeps mains noise out of sensitive signal chains
- EV charger and power supply OEMs — high volume, need a reliable inlet that survives daily plug/unplug cycles
- Telecom and networking hardware — global voltage range (115–250V) means one SKU covers multiple markets
If you’re a product engineer, the 3-in-1 format cuts your BOM count, reduces assembly time, and means one less thing to fail in the field. If you’re a procurement manager, it simplifies your supplier relationship for that part of the design.
Manufacturing Advantages — What You Get Ordering Direct from Us
We’re not a trading company. We make these. Here’s what that means practically:
- Consistent filter performance — Every unit is wound and assembled in-house. CX/CY/L values are process-controlled, not just printed on a label
- Custom current ratings available — 1A, 3A, 6A, 10A are standard. Need something in between or a dual fuse config? Talk to us
- Label and marking customization — OEM labeling is available for volume orders. Your brand, your specs on the label
- Stainless steel chassis — not just for looks. It provides shielding continuity and survives the panel mounting process without cracking or deforming
- Volume pricing with short lead times — We run these regularly. MOQ is flexible depending on spec; standard models can ship from stock
Best Practices from the Field
A few things experienced engineers and procurement teams know about this type of module:
- Always match your fuse rating to your load, not the module maximum. The module handles up to 10A, but if your device draws 3A, fuse it at 3A. Don’t use the module rating as your fuse spec.
- Panel cutout dimensions matter more than people think. Get the datasheet before you finalize your enclosure design. We provide full mechanical drawings on request — standard cutout is 29×44mm.
- The illuminated switch is your first diagnostic tool. If the light doesn’t come on, the issue is upstream of the filter — useful for field technicians.
- Ground continuity through the chassis. The metal housing needs to be bonded to your equipment chassis ground. Don’t skip this — it’s part of how the common-mode filter works.
- For global products, run with the 250V rating even if your primary market is 115V. Single SKU, fewer headaches in international distribution.
FAQs
Can we get this with dual fuse holders instead of single?
Yes. The CW2B series is available in both single and dual fuse configurations. Dual fuse interrupts both live and neutral — required in some markets and CE-compliant designs. Specify when ordering.
What are your MOQ and lead times for standard models?
Standard configurations (6A and 10A with red switch) are typically in production stock. MOQ starts at 100 pcs for standard specs. Custom ratings or OEM labeling may require 500 pcs MOQ with 2–3 week lead time. Contact us for a specific quote.
Are these CE and RoHS certified? Can you provide documentation?
Yes — CE and RoHS are standard on all CW2B-T units. We provide test reports and declarations of conformity. If you need specific EMC test data (conducted emissions, insertion loss curves), reach out and we’ll supply what we have or discuss what testing your application requires.
Can you do OEM / private labeling on the module?
Yes. For volume orders we can replace the Shenzhen Lize label with your brand, model number, and specifications. Custom label artwork is required 1 week before production. Minimum quantity applies.
What’s the insertion loss performance of the filter?
The filter circuit (CX 0.1μF, CY 2×3300pF, L 2×0.3mH) is designed for general-purpose EMI suppression meeting EN 55032 / CISPR 32 class B requirements in typical equipment designs. Actual insertion loss depends on source and load impedance in your circuit. We can provide typical performance curves — contact us with your application details for a more specific answer.
